Giving Hope and Comfort in His Grace

The Trouble with God’s Sacrifice

The other day I was having a conversation on my site Believing God Today with an atheist. There were actually a few of us involved. We were of course trying to convey God’s goodness and willingness to forgive. My atheist commenter was of course trying to convey that there is no God. Now do not get me wrong here, I am not trying to impugn his character at all, but this conversation set me to thinking.

This was all started by this post: THERE IS ABSOLUTE PROOF THAT YESHUA (JESUS THE CHRIST) ROSE FROM THE DEAD! This is a great post and I recommend it highly, one of the best I have read on this, and no I did not write it!

One of the things he said was, “And, sorry, but having somebody ‘die for me’ is disgusting and reprehensible.”

Ok, well on the face of it I can for a moment see how a person could feel that way especially an unbeliever.

  1. Oh, I love your website. It is soooo cool! Wow! I feel like a WoodStock Survivor! Awesome dude! Cool!

  2. I think it’s very readable, and memorable at the same time. It’s appealing…nice to look at…while at the same time, not distracting or overbearing. It also looks very professional. Lovely my dear. Just lovely.

  3. Oh, wow…and my shirt matches your site too..slightly…mauve matches purple okay.you think? Wow, a site that matches my clothes! And you thought I was bad about my lipstick, purses, nail polish, and flip flops having to match! Ha! LOL!!!!!! ;-)

What do you think?
