The Sydney Harbour Bridge is the centre of a great fireworks display each New Year’s Eve. For the 2000 event, an extra spectacular display finished with the word ‘Eternity’ blazing its span. Images of this spread throughout the world via the internet.
WHY was this word emblazoned on Sydney Harbour Bridge? Did it commemorate an important person, one of the rich and famous, or a great achiever?
An inspiring message of hope, a changed man...by the power of God!

Dear Greg, I have already commented on this post over at CB, but I will just add here how grateful I am to learn about Arthur Stace and the history of the word “Eternity” appearing in so many places in Sidney! Wonderful how a single word was such a powerful converter, right?
