There are many excuses for not committing to the Lord, being saved, receiving salvation, whatever you want to term it. This is one of the best to me; I’m too busy! Huh? Ok, so you are telling me that you can’t pray a five-minute prayer? You are telling me that you don’t have time to do the most important thing you have ever done in your life?
There is always time to waste on the Internet, but no time to get saved. Wasting time on the Internet is fun and relaxing, but of no real value. Yes there are many legitimate uses of your time online I know that! In comparison however, what is more important…the eternal destination of your soul, or everyday life? Television, here is another big time waster. There is time to watch that show, or movie…but no time to accept the free gift of salvation from God. How can this be possible?

I did read and “like” and comment on this post at Christian Blessings! For several years in my children’s pre-school days, we deliberately had no TV in this. My grandchildren’s parents are raising them in a home with no broadcast TV. We are the weirdos who chose to have time for higher pursuits. Wonderful post with which I totally agree!

For me, to stop wasting my time on the internet and being intentional with time for Christ…that has turned my life around because of the blessing from knowing him!
