Too Busy For Salvation

There are many excuses for not committing to the Lord, being saved, receiving salvation, whatever you want to term it. This is one of the best to me; I’m too busy! Huh? Ok, so you are telling me that you can’t pray a five-minute prayer? You are telling me that you don’t have time to do the most important thing you have ever done in your life?

There is always time to waste on the Internet, but no time to get saved. Wasting time on the Internet is fun and relaxing, but of no real value. Yes there are many legitimate uses of your time online I know that! In comparison however, what is more important…the eternal destination of your soul, or everyday life? A prodigal for many years, I eventually found my way back to Jesus through several difficult trials. I write with the hope that I can bless others who have struggled as I have. I seek through Christ to present the truth, and lead others to the cross of Calvary. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no other. 1. I did read and “like” and comment on this post at Christian Blessings! For several years in my children’s pre-school days, we deliberately had no TV in this. My grandchildren’s parents are raising them in a home with no broadcast TV. We are the weirdos who chose to have time for higher pursuits. Wonderful post with which I totally agree!

  2. Hi! I found your blog through reading your comments on Drusilla’s site. I admire your passion for the Lord! May you continue to serve God through your writing.

  3. For me, to stop wasting my time on the internet and being intentional with time for Christ…that has turned my life around because of the blessing from knowing him!

2 Peter 3:10-11 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. 11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives
